"This is a side which celebrates our birthplace, a common near Wellington called Nanima and we have an impressive line-up, Mr Ahsee said.
"NRL player Tyrone Peachey is our coach and two other Peacheys are playing.
"We will be competitive because Cowboys' captain-coach Justin Toomey-White and Cowboys' players Lewis and Bill Stanley along with Shannon Ireland are also playing," he added.
The Wellington side performed well in the competition in 2013.
"The draw will be done on Friday and we hope its favourable for a big weekend. It's likely people will be able to watch our matches on NITV this weekend," he said.
"We are all excited to be playing under the Nanima Common Connection banner, we cherish our home."
