Rally day is the 11th of October so save the date and come and have some fun with the Junior Rugby Club, four of us have been running the course to work out the times and clues, we have enlisted the help of Danny Cullen who is a self proclaimed expert on rallies. Well he might be good at organising rallies but his driving skill leaves much to be desired, after our most recent run of the course a white knuckle ride through Mount Arthur has left me a nervous wreck. In fact the idea of the rally is for families to take a leisurely drive in the country with the added fun of gathering clues along the way; the entire circuit is on sealed road so your family car will be all you need to take part. The day will start at Montefiores Oval at 8.45am and take about three hours to complete; morning tea will be provided at Geurie sports ground and the rally will finish up at Yeoval sports ground where a barbecue lunch will be available. There will be prizes given out for the rally and a goal kicking competition will be held with prizes for this event as well. The cost of the Rally will be $10 per car and participants will be required to buy their own lunch. The main focus of the day is not to raise money it is just for everyone to have some fun. Everyone is invited to come along as this event is not just for junior footy club members. For catering purposes we will need people to nominate by Wednesday the 8th of October so please contact Ken Blackburn 0427463442 or Ben Blackhall 0427162066
