Jim McMillan-trained Godliness and Karen McCaroll's Lord Burghersh are nominated for a showdown in the Wellington Mowers and Chainsaw Handicap over 1400m.
Godliness is quickly rising through the ranks and has speed from the barrier while Lord Burghersh will probably begin from the back of the field and swoop, setting up every possibility of local horses figuring in the finish.
It will be a strong field and betting will be competitive as there are other horses in the race which have significant chances.
Friday there is racing at Bathurst, with eight races on the program.
Grenfell and Come By Chance will hold their races on Saturday.
