Jockey Daniel Pitomac says the six-year-old flew out of the stalls and scored impressively.
"She was a little difficult to hold actually early, so I let her have her head. She had plenty of speed I wasn't concerned she might weaken and she was still going well at the end of the 1300m," he said.
Godliness is trained by local trainer Jim McMillan who has an impressive strike rate with a small group of horses.
The bay will run in the 1100m Orana Handicap at Dubbo on Tuesday.
Mr McMillan has grey Gokstad among his chances at Gilgandra on Saturday.
Gokstad is nominated for the Collie Hotel Collie Cup and comes in with bright prospects.
Congratulations also go to trainer Karen McCarroll who guided Lord Burghese home at Tamworth.
The grey ridden by Cody Nestor came from last on the turn to spring through the middle of the field and win.
