Kenny is really excited this week, I've got a bad case of finals fever and I've been sleeping in my footy gear all week just to make sure I'm ready for the trip to Mudgee this Saturday.

Our under 15s and under 17s have excelled themselves once again, the 15s will take on Dubbo Blue at 11 am and the 17s will also be facing Dubbo Blue at 1 pm.
Both semis are sudden death so there will be no second chances, both our sides are coming off strong wins and should run on full of confidence so let's get as many people there as we can to support them.
Last weekend the under 13s made the long road trip to Bathurst for their last game of the season and finished on a good note with a convincing win. According to coach McCarroll his big fowards Eliah Cox and Kyle Forgione took the Bathurst side by the scruff of the neck and shook them out of the game.
Eliah made some massive charges down field and at times would have three or four defenders hanging off him, he had not scored a try all season and was determined to cross the line in his final match of the year and so he did not once but twice.
Bathurst sent two of their biggest straight into our line twice off a tap and twice Kyle Forgione lined them up and left them laying on the ground and not to be out done by his big mate he also scored two tries.
Will Edwards loved sitting back watching the big boys rip the oppositions to pieces and when the time was right he ran forty metres, side stepped half a dozen defenders and planted the ball down for a nice five pointer.
The under 13s ended the season in sixth spot leaving them only two wins out of the finals.
Final score Wellington 44 Bathurst 5
Eliah Cox 3 points
Kyle Forgione 2 points
Jesse Mills 1 point
Under 15s were at home for their last game playing against Dubbo Reds, our boys dominated the entire match which was what was expected against the struggling Reds.
Preston Brien took the bit between his teeth and dragged his big pack with him as he smashed his way through the Dubbo line quickly setting the platform for success and with only four minutes gone Jake Styles popped a neat short ball to Brad McCarroll to score the opening try.
Wellington just kept working their way down field until they were in position and then would put Dubbo to the sword.

Lachie Kidman Carney scored the second try when he pulled the ball from the back of the maul and charged over, once he's within five metres of the try line you just can't stop the big man.
The high light of the day was the exceptional form of the younger boys in the side, the two wingers Keiren Baker and Aaron Kitch were fantastic chasing every loose ball like it was a box of KFC and backing up there inside men like true professionals with the end result being a try for both of them.
Kye Mesati came on off the bench and with fresh legs he ripped into the rucks and mauls like a man possessed. As the 15s found out last year it takes a full team effort to win the comp the way the boys played together in this game I think they are ready to challenge again.
Final score Wellington 38 Dubbo 5
Preston Brien 3 points
Keiren Baker 2 points
Aaron Kitch and Kye Mesati 1 point
Kenny's Excited
The under 17s made the excursion to orange for the final round. Orange weather was glorious and the boys were eager to impress.
Only having 1 reserve was going to test the boys physically but having Brad Kitch sitting on the bench was always going to work in wellos favour.
Henry Redfern opened the account 12 minutes into the match literally crawling his way to the line from the back of a ruck. Lach styles has been devastating in the forwards and his work in the breakdown along side flankers Macca Tierney and Zac McManus has given the forwards lots more competitiveness in the rucks and mauls.
Nash Forgione was again back in the forward pack and enjoyed standing in in the lock position.
He made plenty of good metres and was rewarded with a well earned try. The half time score was close only 3 points separated the two teams.
At 10-7 Henry Redfern again added to the score taking it to 15-7. Orange responded quickly and the score was reduced to 15-12. It was becoming edge of the seat action.
Shannon Mitchell who haas been fighting the flu for several weeks charged like raging bull to score giving the boys much needed points. Charlie Iffland put the game beyond doubt and wellington came away with a gutsy 25-12 win.
Tomorrow sees the boys line up for the semis and the line up is impressive. There are no week links in the team and impact will be main game play.
Good luck boys
