Having fun at the soccer carnival
A reminder that team photos will be taken by Mick and Karen Thompson this weekend and the following weekend, so make sure you inform your players and parents and round up your troupes for their team photos.

Under-6s
Leprechauns had a fun filled game against the Kangaroos.
The cold weather left both teams Knights and Bulldogs a little short on kid power this weekend. Brock Uney stood out for Knights.
Rockets were fuelled this weekend against the Lions.
Tiny Terrors had a fun even game, thank you to Abbey and Charlie Kiss for helping out this week. Great skills by Terrors, Abra Wilson and James Cosier.
Congratulations to all player in the Comets, who never gave up under the blistering attacks from the Bulldogs, Josh McClure (2) and Shep Taylor (2). Well done to Lily Behsman, Cody Conn, Preston Donavon and Oliver Stevens. Panthers Charlie Sanders.
Nanima Ninjas Callee Black (1), continues to lead, with Letiah Toomey and Jaimon Austin trying hard. Devils Nate Bradford (2) Ryan Hyde defending well.
Under-8s
With only two keen Red Flames players Clay Kennedy and Clayton Ty, braving the cold this weekend. Maddogs’ Charlotte Frankham and Roudy Porch (1) helped them out. Connor WIlkin (3) Jayden Fox (1) and Nate Markcrow.
Everyone played hard, on such a cold day, while parents shivered on the sidelines. Scorpions’ Airlie Mason and Rusty Taylor (1) chased well, with Jack Owens (5) and Artie Taylor (2) peppered the post all game. Stripee Strikers Pheobe Poole and Hayley Watts were kept busy in keeper, while Toby Maroulis (3) a few lovely breaks.
The Blues tried hard versus Buffalos’ (D) Kimmy Trappett and Doug Phillipson. Kye Hynch had a great game.
Under-10s
Blue Fire (B) 5 Argentina (F) 6. George Parkes a great job in goals, while Jack Jones (3) Jacqui Ryan (1) and Craig Wheatley (1). Argentina’s six players weathered the storm. Brad O’Brien (2), Alex Brien (3) and Hannah Petrovic (1) Kelly Chown supporting well. Great defending from Sol and Ngara Kennedy. Purple Ferrari (C) 0 Red Dragons (E) 2, with Purples. Red Dragons Georia Eagleston (1) Dan McClure (1). Aussies (D) 3 Wellington Tiger’s (A) 1, Will Eather (2) and Shakyla Toomey (1) leading in attack.
Under-12s
Chelsea (A) 0-0 Bumble Bees (C), Bumble Bees Maggie Smith defended well, with Will Cosier doing a great job in goals.
The B Team (B) 3-3 Purple Flames (D). Awesome effort, Chris Taylor, Courtney Walsh, Will Cannon and Charlie Wilson (3). Purple Flames Sean Behsman (1) and Sam Frankham (2) attacked well with Imogen Guisti and Kelsey Gibson.

Sea Eagles (A) 8 Black and Gold (C) 2, with Ryan Goninan (3), Josh Bennett (3) and Kayla Skelly (2). Busy Bees Brandon Carter (2), Sam Gregory and Thomas Bell strong.
Skittles 3 were defeated by the Green Machine Brad Bowman (2), Yamirra Talbot (1) and Brad Reardon (1) with Troy Gersbach strong in goals. Ngahla Talbot (2), Dave Clarke (1), Cody Hannelly and Brad Reid good with Arlie Clout making some great saves.
Wellington Warriors under- 10s
Our Under-10s played a fun filled game against the DCR Rangers at home.
Wellington Warriors under- 13s
Wellington Warriors 13s versus SDW Hurricanes (1-4), a huge effort against an undefeated team. Charlie Wilson and Sam Birbiles making some fantastic saves. Some great ball skills from Alex Brien who worked well up front with Yamirra Talbot (1)
Wellington Warriors under- 17s Wellington Warriors were defeated by RSL Tigers 4-1, with. Ngahla Talbot(1) having another strong game
All Age Men
The Wellington Lions defeated Dubbo FC 3 nil, They play Dubbo RSL in the semi final on Sunday in Dubbo.
