Nick ‘The Hammer’ versus Heath ‘Roundman’ ready to rumble.
Heath ‘The Roundman’ McGuire is preparing to take on Nick ‘The Hammer’ Birbiles in a somewhat friendly boxing encounter tomorrow night at the Civic Centre, it’s all about raising money for the Cowboys who play Dubbo Cyms in a minor semi final tomorrow.
“We’re doing it to help out the Cowboys and to have some fun, but there will be a serious element to this, I want to win,” Heath McGuire said.
“I am not giving away any game plans but I have a very good left hand,” Mr Birbiles said.
Cowboys Aiden Ryan and Ali Beale will also take part in “friendly fire” after Saturday’s serious business. The pair will don the gloves for a fun three rounder.
Local professional Joel Galea headlines the big card with a fight against Newcastle’s Will Sands in the 66kg category.
