Vietnam is the top receiver at 18 per cent, Taiwan 16 per cent, China 14 per cent, Malaysia 12 per cent.
In the next year the emerging grain power house is lifting its storage levels to 150,000 tonnes from 90,000.
Fletcher's Grain Trader Dave Wheaton told farmers prospects are strong in the export market right now and the company has showed interest in Graincorp's sites which will be closing in the area but they have had no response to their enquiries.
"We have indicated we would be interested," Mr Wheaton told farmers.
In its fifth year of operation the business is doing well. "We are engaging the farmer to provide a better service. We are improving our site all the time. It's all about looking after the grower giving them information about what we're doing and driving new markets for them," Mr Wheaton said.
Wheat, barley and canola are the main drivers for the Wellington district he said before a large gathering of farmers at Comobella Hall on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile a Grain, Research and Development Corporation event at Wellington's civic centre gets underway at 9am today.
Various speakers will talk about critical issues from weeds to robotics and nutrition.
