"The children are using the colours of blue, red and yellow. These are cool climate colours and they help tell a rich story," Mr Nam said.
The artist was part of a big event at the Aboriginal Lands Council which was the culmination of the school holidays in Wellington.
"It's a very good turn out and it's wonderful having the children here," Chief Executive Aboriginal Lands council Leanne Stanley said.
"We will do more of these events for the community."
The activities around the town have been the most successful in some time Communities for Children's Maree Thomas saying it was one of the best attended holiday periods in many years.
