A big get well soon must go to Les Frappell, who had a bad turn last week. A lot of people send out their best wishes to you Les and wish you a speedy recovery. On a personal note I hope to see you back in the bank real soon with your lovely wife Kath.
I’ve spruiked the pub a fair bit, but if you haven’t been out to Burrendong Hotel lately, you really are missing out. The pub is looking fantastic and the meals are just beautiful. Of course if travelling out to Mumbil, don’t forget the other fantastic business, Mumbil Store, which still makes the best hamburgers, or as I call them Jenny burgers, in the area. An unfortunate accident happened last week at the rail crossing at Mumbil. A small car has missjudged the corner and has slammed into the barricades. Don’t forget if travelling between and through Mumbil, Stuart Town and Euchareena slow down, we really don’t want any more accidents on our roads.
