The 'A" grade final was played Saturday and the new champion for 2014 is Robert (Bob) Wilson who defeated a very worthy opponent Ian Smith with the final score being 31 -19.

I know Bob was thrilled with his win, as he has now equaled his Father Ted with two wins up on the board.
The pair's championships commenced Saturday with W. Meharg and T Dray def C Morley and J Charlton 30-13.
This Saturday at 1pm G Whiteman and M Buttsworth will play I Smith and R Simpson, R Harvey and R Wilson versus K Stanley and P Baker, M Clare and R Gersbach versus R Payne and R Darby, K O'Grady and A Manning versus T Messenger and G King.
Pennants on Sunday West Dubbo and Dubbo Macquarie Club were hosted at Wellington. The fours played and defeated West Dubbo, winning all three rinks.
Skip King's team won 20-12, skip Dray's team won 20-16 and skip Wilson's made it a clean sweep, 29-10, giving the home side a much needed 6- nil victory.
Two sides in the sevens had good wins against the Macquarie club. Skip Simpson's team won 21-18 with skip Payne's side winning 25-12.
Skip Bartley's side went down 26-7.
It was a close encounter on the big board with Macquarie taking the points 56-53, a 4-2 win to them.

At Wednesday bowls the winners on the day were G Whiteman and R Wilson with the runners up M Clare, M Buttsworth and K Stanley with the Michael Smith wrester being won by K O'Grady.
The jackpot was not won and increases to $90 this week.
The raffle winner was R Darby.
This week, please have names in by 1pm to start at 1.30pm.
Please note, after the game the traveling bowlers will be holding a meeting, so make a day of it enjoy a game and afterward attend this important meeting.
