Communities for Children co-ordinator Maree Thomas said a number of service providers were there helping with everything from road safety to early diagnosis support for children with disability.
She said she hoped people learnt not just what services were available in the community but about the many outreach services that could come to Wellington.
Those involved on the day were Mission Australia, WACHS, Medicare, Care West, Centrelink, Community Health, Lions Club, Road Safety, Hire for Baby and the Department of Education.
