The Cowboys have no pretensions about facing last year’s grand finalists and very much in form Parkes on Sunday in a families’ and sponsors’ day and have named a formidable line up.
“We are under no apprehension about the crucial nature of this one and I believe we can deliver on the field and in all three grades,” Ray Fabar, the Cowboys publicity man, said talking about the Cowboys final home game of the year.
“Last week we were against the Raiders and had a depleted line up, our young players did stand up but really this weekend will be much different despite injury worries.”
In all three grades the Cowboys have opportunity to settle a finals place and the Cowboys believe it’s not beyond them to suprise the talented Parkes’ players.
One of the Cowboy’s biggest supporters, Terry Elvis Leonard will entertain the crowd rocking around the ground singing to the fans for the family day “off the back of a truck’’.
The first game, the juniors, kick off at 11.30am, 12.35pm reserves with the big one at 2pm and players, fans and supporters are invited to the Grand Hotel after the match.
