The grade five pennant side is off to Bomaderry this Friday to compete in the stat finals.
All persons travelling on the bus are to be at the club by 6.30am.
The following players are the squad going down.
Terry Dray, Barry Smith, Trevor Messenger, Rob Harvey, Bob Wilson, Nathan Boyers, Bill Meharg, Gary King, Peter Baker, Graham Parkes, Paul Manning, Trevor Elemes, Daniel Perkins, and Terry Jackson with Terry acting as the team manager also.
There are a few supporters also going to cheer the sides on. Good luck players.
Be aware of the correct attire shirts, vests and jackets must bear the bowls logo.
Bowls stickers must be in good condition and not showing signs of wear.
Wednesday had 22 bowlers on the green – best bowlers on the day were Mick Wall and Bill Meharg on a countback from Charlie Morley and Bob Wilson. Michael Smith hair cut not on the jackpot of $60 was not won. Jack Charlton picked up the raffle prize. Lucky number winner Kevin Stanley.
There will be a barbecue after bowls today for players and supporters to finalise details of our trip. The raffle for a games set with wine to be drawn. The last 100 club will also be drawn. Thanks to everybody who has supported the fundraising for the trip to Bomaderry.

There won’t be any championship games to be played for the next couple of weeks due to our trip away and President’s Day being on.
Sunday saw us go to Dubbo for a practise game against West Dubbo grade 4 pennant side who are also off to Orange for the state finals.
Without going into full details, Wellington 5s put up a great effort –with 6 rinks played overall Wellington won 3 rinks, drew 1 and lost 2.
This was a very good practise run for our trip away. A great barbecue lunch was supplied between games.
