Well, the rain did wash out last week’s event with only four brave ladies venturing out for 9 holes when the sun appeared after 10am. Well done Denise, Marg, Jan and Gai.
Wednesday’s event is:
Eighteen hole stroke, July monthly medal and putting.
Marg M and Denise have drawn card and starters duty.
Those going to Cobar for the Far West Bowl on the weekend, good golfing, plenty of laughter and no doubt some liquid amber to past the time after a tough day on the course.
As mentioned last week the club’s Mixed Foursomes is scheduled for July 29 and August 5, so start getting your playing partner organised.
Our thoughts are with Kathy and the Martin’s extended families on the sad news of Graham's passing. Everyone should be eager to play on Wednesday after a week off, so see you there bright and early.
