Simple but effective facelift for Mt Arthur

It might look quite simple but the work done by local people on corrective services orders has given Wellington’s Mt Arthur a complete facelift. The work is far from finished but it’s going well.

The benches and grounds have been cleaned up as part of the community partnerships program which is also working on projects all over the town including the Wellington Information and Neighbourhood Centre, the golf club, The Real Hope, Catholic and Wuuluman Churches, Arboretum and Lake Burrendong among

others.

Community partnerships is run by members of the community and members of NSW Corrective Services will meet again tomorrow night at the council chambers.

Helen Dowling who chairs the committee of local non for profit organisations and members of NSW Corrective Services is encouraging people, whatever the project, to turn out tomorrow at 5pm.
