MAN STABBED WITH A PAIR OF SCISSORS

A 28 year old Wellington man has been treated in hospital after two men broke his into his home and attacked him with a pair of scissors. Police have charged two men and a woman following the alleged break, enter and assault in Wellington.

Police say at 11pm, two men aged 32 and 26 allegedly forced their way into a house on Gobolion Street, Wellington, and assaulted the man with a pair of scissors. He suffered a 5cm cut to his forehead.

The two men allegedly threatened two other occupants in the house before taking a number of items. The two men left the premises in a white Hyundai Excel, allegedly driven by a 39-year-old woman.

Police were contacted and short time later officers sighted a vehicle matching the Hyundai’s description on the outskirts of Dubbo. The car was stopped on Wheelers Lane where three occupants were arrested .Items allegedly found in the vehicle, including mobile phones, wallets and an amount of cannabis, were also seized >Two men have now been charged with Specially Aggravated Break, Enter and commit serious indictable offences. A woman was charged with being an accessory after the fact. All three were remanded in custody and appeared in Dubbo Local Court Today The 28-year-old man was treated in Wellington Hospital
