Community Partnerships, a division of NSW Corrective Services set up to give towns and villages a process to assist with projects, is going well according to organisers.
A well-attended meeting at the Wellington Council Chambers discussed several on-going projects including the new Wellington Information and Neighbourhood Centre building on Swift Street, work at the golf course and Burrendong Dam and also work at the Catholic and Real Hope Churches.
Helen Dowling who is a chair of the committee which makes decisions on the project and in which order they completed, is encouraging more community groups, members and individuals to join them in their fortnightly meeting.
The next meeting will be held at the council chambers on June 5.
