The history of policing will be on display at the Rotary markets this Saturday as part of another big day at the Old Police Station and Jail.
The event which is held on the third Saturday of each month has attracted strong stallholder interest.
“We are getting a lot of interest. The crowds were very good at the last market because of the good weather,” Rotary organiser Ian Law.
Senior Sergeant Simon Madgwick said the history of policing at the markets would be an added attraction for the event and some of his officers would be attending.
“We thank Rotary and encourage people to see the exhibition,” he said.
