The grade 5 pennants result against Gilgandra were good for Wellington.
Trevor Elemes, Paul Manning, Terry Jackcon, Peter Baker were 17-15 winners over Jeff Iwin’s team.
Rob Harvey, Trevor Messenger, Barry Smith, Terry Dray defeated Noel Raines’s side 23-19.
Garry King, Bill Meharg, Nathan Boyers and Rob Wilson defeated Mick Harvey’s team 25-13.
Wellington won 65-47 with an overall 6-nil win.
This puts Wellington clear leaders in our section.
In grade 7 we played Dubbo City.
Mark Ahearn, Tom McInnes, Ted Roberts and Richard Carpenter lost to Peter Spradbrows’s side, 11-24.
Mick Wall, John Dewar, Brian Charlton, Roger Simpson lost to Frank Taylor’s side, 17-26.
Ron Payne, Ron Oxenham, Len Matthews and Allan Manning defeated Tom Hando’s side .25-15.Dubbo won 5-1 with an overall score of 65-53.
On Sunday at grade 5 will play at Dubbo Railway.
The teams are R Harvey, T Messenger, B Smith and T Dray.
T Elemes, P Manning, G Parkes, P Baker will team up.
G King, B Meharg, N Boyers and B Wilson will also play.
Grade 7 will see Yeoval play Wellington.
M Wall, B Charlton, R Simpson and T Jackson make up one team.
R Payne, R Oxenham, L Matthews, and A Manning will play.
The final team will have M Ahearn, T McInnes, T Roberts and R Carpenter.
The reserves will be J Dewar, M McLeod and K O’Grady.
Last Wednesday there were 26 bowlers on the green.
Len Matthews and Trevor Messenger were best on the day.
Charlie Morley and Allan Manning were runners up.
Michael Smith trim up was not on- the raffle winners went to Geurie and John Dewar, the jackpot of $140 was not won.
The semi final of the triples resulted in Rob Harvey, Trevor Elemes and Bob Wilson beating Keith O’Grady, Len Matthews and Trevor Messenger.
Bob’s team will now play Allan Manning, Bill Meharg and Terry Jackson in the final next Saturday.
The following singles games will also be played.

Roger Simpson versus Charlie Morley with R Oxenham as marker. Gary King with play Paul Manning, with Nathan Boyers as marker.
The play or forfeit rule will apply, with a 1pm start.
Last Friday Allan Manning, Richard Carpenter, Bill Meharg and Nathan Boyers, Trevor Elemes, Bob Wilson played in a two bowls triples game at Dubbo City.
Bill’s side won two of their three games with Bob’s side winning the three games and the final in the play off to win the day and get the money.
WOMENS BOWLS
Results of the social bowls played last Thursday are in.

Trophy Day will be played tomorrow followed by committee day.
The final of the B Singles Championship will also be played tomorrow.
