Teams rewarded for season’s hard work

Last Saturday saw our final day for junior cricket. It was great seeing so many kids wearing green for St Patrick’s Day once all the rain cleared.

Well done to Harry “The Leprechaun” Broome for his outfit.

You looked sensational Harry.

Awards

Awards made to representative players who play in the Association’s Junior or Senior Competition were:

Candace Brien - MVCC under-16 girls

Brittany Owens - MVCC 16s girls, Wellington under-12s and under- 14s

Carolyn Morley - MVCC girls

Jack and Keiran Baker - MVCC 14s and 12s respectively plus Wellington 14s and 12s

Presentation to all players

The association gave all players a logo embroidered maroon bucket hat, the remaining Commonwealth Bank water bottles and Cricket NSW sample bags.

Those players who were away due to Rugby or other commitment’s, Marie will chase you up to give you your hats.

Canteen Clean Up - thank you to the families and players who remained behind to cleanup ready for the soccer season.

Thank you to all the volunteers and families that have lent a hand this season.

Your efforts do not go unnoticed and we appreciated all that you are able to do.

Lastly I would like to thank everybody for their support this season to Junior Cricket.

All enjoy your winter sports and remember to keep an eye out for the Cricket AGM in August.
