He finished his apprenticeship last year and has stayed on at Readfords Motorcyles as a mechanic.
Last year he became the NSW apprentice of the Year, winning a $1000 voucher for Super Cheap Auto, then took out the title of ACT apprentice as well.
At the Ulysses AGM in Maryborough 32,000 people attended and Lincoln Brien won a Honda CV 400 (the event was sponsored by Honda).
While he was surprised to win the title, he was thrilled as he had done a lot of groundwork.
During his time at TAFE and Readfords, he has had inspiring teachers and role models. He was interviewed on a range of topics and was able to provide the judges with extensive, well-informed answers.
Lincoln Brien said that loving what you do was what gave him the edge.
“It’s not just a job, it’s fun as well,” he said.
