This year the community is privileged to host Clint Grose and his family.
Clint enlisted in the regular army on 1993 as a rifleman.
In 1996 Captain Clint Grose undertook training as a Medical Technician, and in 2007 commissioned as a Nursing Officer.
His postings have included:
Eight Ninth Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, Army Logistics Centre, and One Close Health Battalion, to name a few.
He has deployed on Operation Anode and Operation Slipper.
Captain Grose will be bringing with him the Australian Flag that was flown in Afghanistan on Anzac Day while he was deployed there last year.
This will be flown at Gollan and used for the ceremony.
Captain Grose was discharged from the Australian Army in February 2013 after 20 years of service.
The Gollan community is thrilled and honoured that Captain Grose will be present for Anzac Day, and welcome all to join for the day.
