Well done to all swimmers last week for trying hard and doing your very best.

The off stroke for this week is backstroke and the distance event is 200m freestyle.

To be eligible to swim the 200m freestyle, a swimmer must be in the 50 metres freestyle at point scores.Our trusty recorder Loretta has sent me through the promotions for week four.

Freestyle

17m: Tatum Roberts, Nick Trappett and Tim Whighton.

33m: Noah Cox, Cooper McGeorge and Rachel Eagleston.

50m: Jack Thompson, Kotoni Staggs and Kirsty McCarroll.

Breastroke

33m: Rebecca Hyde, Molly Griggs, Sam Campbell, Daniel Stanley and Emily Eagleston.

Just a reminder that entries are open for the following carnivals: Dunedoo December 19, Walgett December 20, Nyngan January 17 and Coolah January 16.

Good luck to all the swimmers attending the Mudgee Indoor Carnival this Saturday in Gulgong, it will be a terrific carnival and we have many swimmers going.

Could everyone try and remember to bring something for the Christmas hamper to place in the trolley at the club rooms.

Tickets will be sold during the next two weeks and drawn at our Christmas party on December 18.

To avoid disappointment and tears all swimmers are reminded to make sure they mark their names off in both freestyle, the off stroke and the distance (if they are eligible). If you miss your name being marked off you can not swim on the night.

Claims this week will be set up with 17m and 33m, both freestyle and off stroke, at one table on one side of the club rooms and the rest on the other side of the club rooms.

Marshalling for the 17 metre swimmers will occur like last week on the grass down the shallow end near the play equipment as this went very smoothly last Friday.
