Numbers were again good at last Tuesday’s swim with Janelle Frappell returning to form to take out the 25 and 50 metre events.
We only have four swims left this season with our last swim scheduled for Tuesday March 23.
Two presentations were made last Tuesday, one to Charlie Horne of a framed photo of his famous landing from the bus from Forbes, and the other to Kim the Korean student who has been hosted by the Frappells and has been a guest at our Tuesday barbecues.
A small team of four will be competing in the AIF National Championships in Nelson Bay on March 20.
Those members interested in going to Queanbeyan on the June long weekend please advice Terry Dray before the end of season.
Raffle duties at the Soldiers’ Memorial Club tonight are Charlie Horne and John Donnelly while Sunday is Wayno and Tippy.
Next week’s barbecue will be at Maryvale.
Swimming is on again next Tuesday starting at 6pm at the Olympic Pool.
