Children are keen to get training under way for the 2012 season but before we can begin with training the club will need to see parents accompany their children to register with the appropriate paperwork and registrations to be carried out.

A copy of the child’s birth certificate would be appreciated if parents can provide the document if requested by Susan, Marsha or team managers.

The registration cost for the 2012 JRL season is at $100 which will include CRL registration, shorts, socks, PCYC membership and other club rewards or events throughout the year.

There are grants available to support your child’s registration costs or the club can offer support case by case for the registration to be paid.

There is possible talk of the JRL club visiting Ausgrid Stadium to watch the Newcastle Knights play against Parramatta Eels in April.

New coach of the Newcastle Knights Wayne Bennett believes a winning team will create a great atmosphere and a great place to be in 2012.

The Sydney Roosters is seeking to gain the JRL support with membership of the Roosters which includes goodies and other incentives.

If you are interested in further training, there will be CRL education seminars locally. CRL accreditation courses are to be held in the following areas:

Level 1 Club Coach Course to be held on March 31/April 1 at Wellington PCYC clubhouse at 10am, Level 1 refereeing seminar (February 21-22 at 5.30pm) for ages of 14 and above, League Safe education course (February 23 at 3.30pm) to be held at Dubbo Clubhouse Apex Oval.
