Wellington race club secretary Ian Giffin is impressed with the beautiful bay colt by Al Maher out of Find The Cash which he has brought to Wellington to raffle for the Wellington Boot.
“He is a very nice looking race horse,” Mr Giffin said.
“Our raffle winners have been very successful over the years. When you win you can keep it or have the horse auctioned and it’s only $25 a ticket which means you can even form a syndicate to buy tickets.”
The flyer is around in shops and at the Wellington Times and it’s an initial boost on the way to the big race weekend of March 24 and 25.
