Scores close in fun nine hole

The results are in for round 23 of the fun nine hole golf competition.

Men

There were 48 starters last Thursday with Reid Armstrong recording a nett 28 to win the round.

The course rating was 33 and Tim Parker won the raffle. The mystery hole number nine jackpotted once again and now is worth 14 of the best.

The best seven round trophy is very close, with three rounds remaining. Fletcher Mostyn leads on minus 23, Ross Godfrey minus 22, Bob Ridley and Matt Redfern on minus 21, Warren Mostyn and Tim Parker minus 20, then a quiet few on minus 19

and 18. Thursday is the back nine holes.

Women

Round 23 for the ladies was played with 12 attending.

Rachael Krarup on nett 31, just edging out Cheryl Royal nett 34.

With two rounds to play, the best seven round trophy is a two-horse race with Tracey Parker minus 37 leading Rachael Krarup minus 36. This Sunday is the back nine holes.

Juniors

About five young ones turned up to get some skills off Ron Cavan last Sunday.

Any young seven to 15-year-old wishing to get some golfing help just be at the club on Sunday morning at 8am.

You will be finished by 10am and the cost is only $1.
