The February monthly medal was played last Saturday at Wellington. David East displaying his best form emerged the winner of the A grade medal with a net 65.
Jamie Hunt won it for B grade with a 68. A grade runner-up was Peter Bell 66 with Brent Eather runner-up for B grade with a 69.
Other ball competition winners were Joshua Bullock 67, Ab Towney 68, David Wilson, Kevin Reid and Vic Payne 70, David Naveau and Garth Watts 71, Stephen McCarroll, James Cusack, Pat Everingham, Damien Bell 72, Gary Cusack, Kevin Whale, Malcolm Payne and Clinton Ridley 73.
Ron Stubberfield Toyota Terrific Tee Shot winners were John Donnelly 3rd and 8th, Gary Cusack 14th and Kurt Cusack 16th. Pat Everingham won the McCarthy-Staggs Tiling nearest the pin in two shots on the 10th.
Clinton Ridley and Pat Everingham won the McDonald’s Biggest Whack for A and B grade respectively.
Ron Frappell won the Brydon Encouragement award with 91. Sector Nine were sponsors and starters.
Wellington Soldiers’ Memorial Club sponsored the day which attracted 61 starters. Round 12 of the Keirle’s Pharmacy Summer Competition was also played last Saturday along with round three of the F and J Gersbach trophy.
The results of the round 12 matches are: Federal def Puppies two up, Bogeymen def Goodsorts three up, Dirt Diggers def Old Fellows five up, Printer’s Devils def Maulers one up, Daffy’s Ducks def Sector Nine two up, Untouchables def Workabout Australia seven up and Westrac def Council Workers four up.
The top eight in the Keirle’s Pharmacy Summer Competition are Federal 52.5, Bogeymen 46.2, Daffy’s Ducks 46.1, Westrac 42.4, Printer’s Devils 41.9, Dirt Diggers 40.3, Goodsorts 39.0, Council Workers 37.9.
Tomorrow’s final round draw is: Federal Hotel v Bogeymen, Puppies v Old Fellows, Goodsorts v Maulers, Dirt Diggers v Daffy’s Ducks, Printer’s Devils v Workabout Australia, Sector Nine v Council Workers, Untouchables v Westrac.

The Central West District Golf Association pennants commenced last Sunday. All three grades went down three and two.
Division One played Forbes with the following individual results: Ben McCarthy lost 7 and 6, James Cusack lost 2 and 1, Luke Brydon lost 4 and 3, Mitchell Cusack and Elton Keefe won 2 and 1.
Division two results were: Malcolm Payne lost 2 and 1, Joshua Bullock lost 4 and 3, Robert Ridley won 3 and 2, Mat Redfern won 3 and 1 and David Naveau lost on the 19th.
Division three results were: Ashley Bullock won 4 and 3, Rodney Cunynghame lost 2 and 1, Norm Royal lost 5 7 4, Mitchell Spradbrow lost 4 and 3 and Reid Armstrong won 3 and 2.
Next week’s draw has the division one team of Joe Ryan, Ben McCarthy, Mitchell and James Cusack and Elton Keefe playing Wentworth at Dubbo.
The division two team of Malcolm Payne, Joshua Bullock, Robert Ridley, Mat Redfern and David Naveau play Mudgee at Bathurst. Division three play Mudgee at Wentworth.
