Round 10 of the Rod Hampstead Electrical Darts Challenge was contested last Monday with some big margins seen in some of the matches.
With only five rounds left to play there are some teams that will have to push their players to qualify for the semi-finals.
Remembering you must play eight matches to qualify.
After 10 rounds of the challenge Nathan Martin still holds the highest score with 154, while the highest peg of 108 is held by Dave Wilson.
The pointscore is also being led by Dave Wilson with Dave Baird his closest rival eight points behind.
The ladies pointscore with Colleen Curry sponsoring this award has Wendy Wilson leading and she has kicked away on all her rivals.

Wellington Hotel A took on the Cee-Cee’s with the Cee-Cee’s out for revenge after the Wellington Hotel A defeated them in the first round of the competition.
Cee-Cee’s got off to the
perfect start by winning both of the doubles matches, they also took out most of the singles matches to have a commanding lead.
Singles results were Dave Wilson def Margie Mills 2-1, Wendy Wilson def Allan Brown 2-1, Dorreen Saunders lost to Peter Fitzsimmons 1-2 and Eugene Spicer def Geoff Wyatt 2-1.
The teams’ game was probably the longest game of darts ever played as neither side could get near a double, but finally a double was hit by Wellington Hotel A but alas the Cee-Cee’s took out the match by five games to two which breaks their run of four games to three results.
In what was the match of the night the Federal Hotel were up against Wellington Hotel 1 with plenty of high scores thrown.
The doubles ended up being shared but it was the singles where Wellington Hotel 1 got on top by taking out the majority of games.
Singles results were; Nathan Martin def Alf Wilson 2-0, Ian Martin def Dale Harris 2-1, Andrew Davis lost to Mel 1-2
and Brett Rich def Tony Poole 2-1.
The teams’ game would finish off the night with the Federal Hotel winning that game but not the match as the Wellington Hotel won the match by four games to three.
Sparkees took on the Grand Legends with the Grand boys trying to record their first victory of the competition.
They arrived with smiles on their faces but left with frowns on them after yet another heartfelt loss.
Sparkees showed no mercy for them by winning both doubles games and most of the singles, results follow, Dave Baird def James Connelly 2-0, Peter Watson lost to Shane Mitchell 1-2, Mick Connelly def Alex Kennedy 2-0 and Ken Fairley def Alan Rokowski.
The teams’ game was no
different with the Sparkees
taking that out as well to
finish with a six games to one victory.

Lowest score for the evening went to Andrew Davis with a score of four, luckily his team-mates were good enough to cover his score.
Draw for round 11 of the Rod Hampstead Electrical Darts Challenge sees Sparkees v Cee-Cee’s, Wellington Hotel 1 v Grand Legends and Federal Hotel v Wellington Hotel A.
Pointscore after 10 rounds sees the Federal Hotel 14 points +14, Cee-Cee’s 14 points +6, Wellington Hotel 1 12 points +18, Sparkees 12 points +12, Wellington Hotel A eight points -22 and Grand Legends nil points -28.
