If you thought Macquarie River looked a bit brighter recently, you would not have been wrong.
A group of locals and visitors in bright yellow kayaks floated their way down the river in weather which “couldn’t have been nicer”.
The group included Perth
family Melita, Peter, Greg and Olivia Carstens who stayed at ‘Roselawn’ during the holiday period, as well as Craig Mostyn, Warren, Emily and Fletcher Mostyn, Jack and Kieran Baker and Aaron Parker.
From all reports, great fun was had by all with Mrs Carstens wishing to say a special thank you to the woman who let them hire the kayaks.
