Weaner steers sold to very strong competition with the light end selling well over an estimated 300 cents per kg live, with 493 weaners making $285 to $725 to average $533 or 281 cents per kg. There were 246 weaner heifers traded from $320 to $620 to average $467 while limited numbers of yearling steers realised $480 to $660 yearling heifers ranged from $480 to $670 to average $551.
PTIC heifers sold for $570, PTIC cows made from $500 to $1060, cows and calves ranged from $710 to $1510 for a pen of Angus, unjoined cows traded from $350 to $740.
At Dubbo in Monday, 11650 lamb were penned in a mixed quality yarding with restocker lambs limited in numbers.
Trade weights were firm to $3 cheaper, heavy lambs fell $3 to $6 trade weight exotics ranged from $95 to $110.
