Thieves have struck the Wellington Golf Course for the second time this year, adding financial burden to the club.
While the club isn't at death's door, being robbed twice takes it toll.
"Numbers are dropping at places everywhere, we're no different," said Club Secretary Geoff Walker.
"The club isn't making a fortune and this certainly doesn't help."
The thieves smashed a front a window to gain entry, but only after they had disabled the security system.
