Madam,
It is great that a football team with the likes of Manly are coming to play here. Towns in the bush need to see more of this type of thing to continue the success of the game.
In your article you said that there have been improvements to Kennard Park. Why is it that the only time that these improvements are done is when something likes this happens? I have seen the fenced sort of fixed, it still has holes in the wire that an adult could and does climb through.
The scoreboard that looked like it hadn't had a coat of paint since it was put up has finally been painted. The storm water drain that runs though the corner is not only a great playground for the kids but is also the way that non-paying people get in.
The fence is an easy fix but will probably get cut as soon as every body goes home. The drain needs a bit more thought put into it as it is a problem that runs though house yards as well as Kennard Park. Maybe it should be covered completely so that we don't see a major accident involving the drain.
