Geurie's Picnics A Great Day

John and Sue McKinnon live at Dubbo but their son Scott is the President of the Geurie Club and publican at the Mitchell Inn.

Today they are celeberating a big win in the Geurie Cup with their galloper One Last Shot who sustained a strong run to the line.

A big crowd attended the meeting with was run in bright sun light after a week of heavy rain.

Was a great day but how come they tried to run Fashions on the Field about five minutes before the Cup was supposed to be run?

..and why did the organisers invite two local community agencies to attend and cater for the huge crowd as fund-raisers for those agencies - then put on a lavish free lunch for all and sundry?

Something went horribly wrong there.
